Philosophy
What Shapes the Course
Philosophy defines our purpose before a single line is drawn. It reflects a deep respect for the game’s heritage and guides how each course unfolds across the land. Every decision is intentional: shaping strategy, enhancing natural beauty and creating engaging, playable experiences. The result is golf that feels timeless and intuitive, where challenge and enjoyment are carefully balanced for players of every skill level.

History
Our design philosophy is rooted in a love of the game and our admiration for classic courses like the St. Andrews Old Course, Pinehurst #2, National Golf Links, Cypress Point, Prairie Dunes, Seminole, Merion and Oakmont to name a few.

Strategy
Through the placements of hazards, we strive to create golf courses with strategic angles that encourage the players to thoughtfully navigate their way around the golf course.

Aesthetics
Whether a flat corn field or seaside linksland, our goal is create golf courses that are scenic and beautiful.

Playability
While we aim to create golf courses that can challenge the best players, our overriding objective is to create a course that is fun and playable for the average golfer. We strongly believe these two elements aren’t mutually exclusive of each other and can coexist.

Environmental Stewardship
With every design, it’s critical to enhance and preserve the natural environment. We strive to create courses that protect the environment and seamlessly blend into their surrounds.

Meet the Goals
Our primary goal is to be responsive to our clients' needs and design a course which meets their goals and exceeds their expectations.
